SurveyAuto collects information about you when you install our mobile application and through other interactions and communications, you have with us. This Privacy Policy applies to the SurveyAuto app, websites, and products and services available on or at the websites (taken together, the “Service”). The Service is owned and operated by “SurveyAuto”, and this Privacy Policy applies to information collected and used by SurveyAuto. Remember that your use of the Service is at all times subject to the Terms of Use, which incorporates this Privacy Policy. We are constantly trying to improve the Service, so we may need to change this Privacy Policy from time to time as well. SurveyAuto is an app to collect data about the world around you. While collecting this data, we use the following:

• Location
• To better target users with Tasks and mitigate fraud by verifying user-provided location data.
• User device ID and IP address
• To personalize and improve the Services, including to provide or recommend content targeted towards a specific user in a specific location.
• Device information
• To better understand the user’s context for app enhancements and bug reporting, as well as gather data that can be used for dispute resolution when performing paid Tasks.
• Performance metrics for APIs
• To ensure that all the APIs used by the app are working well in order to provide the best possible user experience for the user.
• Collection of app names
• To minimize the risk of fraud by making sure the user is not using an app that doctors information that is key for the effective functioning of the app, eg: location data, clock, etc.
• Battery status
• To understand the impact of our app on the user’s battery.
• WiFi and Cellular
• To better understand the quality of the signal on the user’s device and thereby help our partners improve network coverage, as well as reactively providing a better service for users based on signal quality.

Overall, we will be logging the data mentioned above in order to better serve our users and prevent fraudulent users from abusing our Services for which we pay users. This data will be sent to SurveyAuto via Fabric, a third-party analytics company. Some of the information mentioned above may also be shared with our partners.

We collect the information you provide directly to us, as well as the information you provide through the use of third party accounts. We collect information when you create or modify your account, complete a task, contact customer support, or otherwise communicate with us. This information may include; name, social media account, email address, phone number and other information you choose to provide.

When you use the Service, we collect information about you in the general categories below:

• Location Information:

  When you use the Service to complete SurveyAuto tasks, we collect precise location data that tracks your check-in location and observation locations. If you permit the Service to access location services through the permission system used by your mobile operating system (“platform”), we may also collect the precise location of your device when the app is running in the foreground or background. We may also derive your approximate location from your IP address.

• Contacts Information:

  If you permit the Service to access the address book on your device through the permission system used by your mobile platform, we may access and store names and contact information from your address book for account verification.

• Power Information:

  If you permit the Service to access your power information on your device through the permission system used by your mobile platform, we may access and store your power levels and charging status to understand the environment our product operates in.

• Transaction Information:

  We collect transaction details related to your use of the Service including your payment information, the payment provider you use, the date and time a task was completed, submitted, reviewed and paid, a cash out was initiated, the amount of money made, and other related transaction details.

• Usage and Preference Information (Do Not Track Policy):

  We collect information about how you and site visitors interact with the Service, preferences expressed, and settings are chosen. In some cases, we do this through the use of cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies that create and maintain unique identifiers. Through cookies we place on your browser or device, we may also collect information about your online activity after you leave the Service. Just like any other usage information we collect, this information allows us to improve the Service and customize your online experience, and otherwise as described in this Privacy Policy.   When you interact with the Service, we collect server logs, which may include information like device IP address, access dates and times, app features or pages viewed, app crashes and other system activity, type of browser, and the third-party site or service you were using before interacting with the Service.

  If you provide your third-party account credentials to us or otherwise sign in to the Service through a third-party site or service (e.g., Facebook), you understand some content and/or information in those accounts (”Third Party Account Information”) may be transmitted into your SurveyAuto account if you authorize such transmissions, and that Third Party Account Information transmitted to the Service is covered by this Policy. We may combine information from this app or site with information we have collected from you in your capacity as a user of the Service.

  We use analytics to help analyze how our users use the Service. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as how often our users visit the Service, what pages they visit, and what other sites they used prior to coming to the Service. We may use the information we get from Google Analytics to improve our Service or to send you promotional messages about our Service.
